Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Cement and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304), which rose 5.56% or 1.00 points to trade at 19.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007) added 4.76% or 2.05 points to end at 45.15 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) was up 4.56% or 0.98 points to 22.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291), which fell 2.90% or 0.80 points to trade at 26.80 at the close. Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) declined 2.78% or 2.50 points to end at 87.50 and Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) was down 2.67% or 0.90 points to 32.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 106 to 67 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (SE:3007) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.76% or 2.05 to 45.15. Shares in Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.56% or 0.98 to 22.48.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.57% or 0.33 to $58.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.67% or 0.43 to hit $65.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.05 to trade at $1428.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 4.1766, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 97.840.
