Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Media & Publishing and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:4331), which rose 9.94% or 1.80 points to trade at 19.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.14% or 0.01 points to end at 0.15 and Saudi Electricity Company (TADAWUL:5110) was up 6.47% or 1.24 points to 20.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:2070), which fell 3.76% or 1.40 points to trade at 35.85 at the close. LIVA Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8280) declined 3.58% or 0.76 points to end at 20.44 and Ataa Educational Co (TADAWUL:4292) was down 3.50% or 2.70 points to 74.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 157 to 125 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.01% or 0.01 to $78.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.07% or 0.06 to hit $82.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 11.70 to trade at $2,047.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.29% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 103.34.
