Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Cement and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050), which rose 10.00% or 6.30 points to trade at 69.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) added 9.93% or 14.20 points to end at 157.20 and Saudi Company for Hardware (TADAWUL:4008) was up 6.35% or 2.15 points to 36.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) declined 3.99% or 3.80 points to end at 91.50 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) was down 2.63% or 21.60 points to 800.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 136 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) rose to 5-year highs; up 10.00% or 6.30 to 69.30. Shares in Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) rose to all time highs; rising 9.93% or 14.20 to 157.20. Shares in Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) fell to all time lows; losing 3.99% or 3.80 to 91.50.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.39% or 1.03 to $74.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.21% or 0.96 to hit $80.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 4.05 to trade at $2,048.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 102.05.
