Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Retail and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6040), which rose 7.34% or 1.16 points to trade at 16.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Ataa Educational Co (TADAWUL:4292) added 6.73% or 4.60 points to end at 73.00 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) was up 6.22% or 9.60 points to 164.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (TADAWUL:4342), which fell 3.52% or 0.46 points to trade at 12.62 at the close. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) declined 2.97% or 3.60 points to end at 117.80 and Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2100) was down 2.73% or 1.10 points to 39.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 100 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:6014) fell to all time lows; down 2.97% or 3.60 to 117.80.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.79% or 0.60 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.72% or 0.58 to hit $79.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 10.95 to trade at $2,013.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.07% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 103.15.
