Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (TADAWUL:6060), which rose 9.93% or 2.16 points to trade at 23.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) added 9.91% or 1.90 points to end at 21.08 and Saudi Company for Hardware (TADAWUL:4008) was up 6.70% or 2.15 points to 34.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which fell 10.00% or 2.32 points to trade at 20.88 at the close. Arabian Centres Co (TADAWUL:4321) declined 2.94% or 0.62 points to end at 20.48 and Ataa Educational Co (TADAWUL:4292) was down 2.84% or 2.00 points to 68.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 140 to 128 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (TADAWUL:6060) rose to 5-year lows; rising 9.93% or 2.16 to 23.92.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.09% or 1.49 to $72.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.75% or 1.32 to hit $76.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 7.25 to trade at $2,032.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.14, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 100.94.
