Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Retail and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.08% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 6.36% or 1.05 points to trade at 17.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012) added 5.78% or 1.70 points to end at 31.10 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 5.63% or 0.200 points to 3.750 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Marke (SE:4006), which fell 2.07% or 0.60 points to trade at 28.40 at the close. Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) declined 1.83% or 0.60 points to end at 32.20 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was down 1.52% or 0.30 points to 19.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 77 to 73 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.31% or 0.17 to $54.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.39% or 0.22 to hit $56.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.91% or 11.45 to trade at $1242.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.41% to 3.9499, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 101.81.
