Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Multi Investment and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which rose 10.00% or 1.40 points to trade at 15.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) added 6.16% or 1.44 points to end at 24.80 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) was up 4.41% or 1.80 points to 42.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL:2250), which fell 4.60% or 1.14 points to trade at 23.66 at the close. Taleem REIT Fund (TADAWUL:4333) declined 3.74% or 0.44 points to end at 11.34 and United Int Transportation Company (TADAWUL:4260) was down 3.00% or 1.50 points to 48.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 136 to 109 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Taleem REIT Fund (TADAWUL:4333) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.74% or 0.44 to 11.34.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.10% or 0.08 to $78.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.21% or 0.18 to hit $85.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.65 to trade at $1,945.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.43% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 101.54.
