Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Energy & Utilities and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 9.95% or 3.200 points to trade at 35.350 at the close. Meanwhile, Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) added 6.02% or 1.14 points to end at 20.08 and Bank AlJazira (SE:1020) was up 5.83% or 0.84 points to 15.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370), which fell 4.61% or 1.00 points to trade at 20.70 at the close. National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) declined 4.26% or 1.70 points to end at 38.20 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) was down 4.22% or 0.84 points to 19.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 93 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) rose to 5-year highs; rising 6.02% or 1.14 to 20.08. Shares in Bank AlJazira (SE:1020) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.83% or 0.84 to 15.26.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.26% or 0.81 to $65.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.38% or 0.94 to hit $68.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 5.50 to trade at $1727.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.4856, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 91.612.
