Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Energy & Utilities and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 7.14% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) added 5.05% or 4.90 points to end at 102.00 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) was up 4.39% or 1.95 points to 46.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230), which fell 2.90% or 0.29 points to trade at 9.71 at the close. Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084) declined 2.79% or 0.85 points to end at 29.60 and ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382) was down 2.64% or 0.50 points to 18.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 161 to 153 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.05% or 4.90 to 102.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.72% or 0.50 to $69.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.57% or 0.42 to hit $73.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.10 to trade at $2,635.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.30% to 3.97, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 106.46.
