Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Telecoms & IT and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320), which rose 9.93% or 1.94 points to trade at 21.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) added 9.89% or 1.08 points to end at 12.00 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8120) was up 9.87% or 1.36 points to 15.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200), which fell 9.94% or 13.80 points to trade at 125.00 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) declined 9.94% or 2.06 points to end at 18.66 and Maharah for Human Resources (TADAWUL:1831) was down 8.66% or 5.50 points to 58.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 123 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8120) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.87% or 1.36 to 15.14.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.13% or 1.61 to $77.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.11% or 1.69 to hit $81.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.38% or 27.10 to trade at $1,942.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 105.68.
