Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051), which rose 7.66% or 8.40 points to trade at 118.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) added 7.23% or 3.10 points to end at 46.00 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 6.16% or 1.00 points to 17.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which fell 3.82% or 0.64 points to trade at 16.10 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) declined 2.38% or 1.40 points to end at 57.40 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was down 2.13% or 0.60 points to 27.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 112 to 76 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) rose to all time highs; up 7.66% or 8.40 to 118.00. Shares in Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) rose to 3-years highs; rising 7.23% or 3.10 to 46.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.13% or 0.07 to $52.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.16% or 0.09 to hit $55.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 10.40 to trade at $1840.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.45% to 4.5396, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 90.578.
