Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Industrial Investment and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which rose 9.98% or 2.75 points to trade at 30.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 7.27% or 0.71 points to end at 10.48 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was up 4.58% or 4.80 points to 109.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Marke (SE:4006), which fell 3.73% or 0.82 points to trade at 21.18 at the close. Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) declined 3.68% or 0.84 points to end at 22.00 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was down 3.33% or 1.00 points to 29.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 123 to 64 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.80% or 0.96 to $26.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.29% or 0.96 to hit $30.15 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.65% or 28.35 to trade at $1744.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.00% to 4.0626, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7575.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 100.317.
