Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:4280), which rose 8.52% or 0.67 points to trade at 8.53 at the close. Meanwhile, The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030) added 6.71% or 1.95 points to end at 31.00 and Amlak Intl for Real Estate Finance (TADAWUL:1182) was up 5.36% or 0.56 points to 11.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071), which fell 3.14% or 7.40 points to trade at 228.60 at the close. Dr Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh (TADAWUL:4017) declined 3.04% or 1.90 points to end at 60.70 and Modern Mills Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2284) was down 2.62% or 1.40 points to 52.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 133 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:4280) rose to 52-week highs; rising 8.52% or 0.67 to 8.53.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.99% or 0.76 to $77.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.78% or 0.63 to hit $81.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 11.80 to trade at $2,419.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 104.00.
