Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Media & Publishing and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BANK ALBILAD (SE:1140), which rose 4.60% or 2.20 points to trade at 50.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) added 4.04% or 7.80 points to end at 201.00 and Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) was up 2.84% or 1.15 points to 41.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sadr Logistics Co (SE:1832), which fell 9.98% or 9.20 points to trade at 83.00 at the close. Sedco Capital REIT (SE:4344) declined 6.35% or 0.76 points to end at 11.20 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) was down 4.98% or 2.25 points to 42.95.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 169 to 46 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in BANK ALBILAD (SE:1140) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.60% or 2.20 to 50.00. Shares in Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) rose to all time highs; rising 4.04% or 7.80 to 201.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.02% or 0.77 to $74.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.76% or 0.59 to hit $77.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 19.40 to trade at $1809.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.25% to 4.2568, while USD/SAR fell 0.04% to 3.7541.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 95.965.
