Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 9.93% or 2.44 points to trade at 27.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) added 9.92% or 1.18 points to end at 13.08 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was up 9.84% or 2.40 points to 26.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191), which fell 2.46% or 0.56 points to trade at 22.24 at the close. Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) declined 2.32% or 1.05 points to end at 44.30 and Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004) was down 2.31% or 1.90 points to 80.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 67 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.93% or 2.44 to 27.00. Shares in Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.92% or 1.18 to 13.08. Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.84% or 2.40 to 26.80.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.07% or 0.45 to $42.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.69% or 0.31 to hit $45.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.87% or 36.45 to trade at $1986.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.4531, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 92.810.
