Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Media & Publishing and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060), which rose 6.96% or 4.70 points to trade at 72.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) added 4.91% or 0.94 points to end at 20.10 and Raydan Co (SE:6012) was up 4.41% or 0.88 points to 20.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051), which fell 4.48% or 2.60 points to trade at 55.40 at the close. Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) declined 3.30% or 0.31 points to end at 9.09 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) was down 2.96% or 0.44 points to 14.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 99 to 83 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.74% or 0.31 to $41.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.93% or 0.41 to hit $43.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 13.70 to trade at $1878.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 4.3412, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 94.918.
