Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Retail, Agriculture & Food and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 4.30%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which rose 9.99% or 7.00 points to trade at 77.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 9.99% or 1.68 points to end at 18.50 and Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) was up 9.96% or 7.80 points to 86.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which fell 6.25% or 8.40 points to trade at 126.00 at the close. The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) declined 5.79% or 1.95 points to end at 31.70 and Yanbu Cement Co. (SE:3060) was down 2.30% or 0.46 points to 19.54.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 41 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.51% or 0.34 to $67.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.47% or 0.36 to hit $76.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.00 to trade at $1235.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.18% to 4.2810, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7519.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 96.11.
