Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Building & Construction and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 2.47%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which rose 10.00% or 1.54 points to trade at 16.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) added 9.84% or 11.20 points to end at 125.00 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) was up 9.57% or 4.50 points to 51.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100), which fell 5.34% or 0.48 points to trade at 8.51 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) declined 5.09% or 2.55 points to end at 47.55 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) was down 4.17% or 0.60 points to 13.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 164 to 30 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) fell to 5-year lows; falling 5.34% or 0.48 to 8.51. Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.09% or 2.55 to 47.55.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.79% or 0.23 to $29.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.00% or 0.30 to hit $29.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 16.30 to trade at $1502.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.50% to 4.1332, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.34% at 99.463.
