Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 2.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyad Bank (TADAWUL:1010), which rose 8.25% or 2.85 points to trade at 37.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210) added 7.02% or 16.20 points to end at 247.00 and BANK ALBILAD (TADAWUL:1140) was up 6.85% or 3.15 points to 49.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140), which fell 5.48% or 5.80 points to trade at 100.00 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) declined 3.21% or 0.85 points to end at 25.60 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was down 2.94% or 0.40 points to 13.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 61 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.84% or 0.92 to $110.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.79% or 0.87 to hit $111.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 16.49 to trade at $1,848.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.62% to 4.00, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 102.28.
