Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Cement and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 2.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050), which rose 9.87% or 3.15 points to trade at 35.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) added 9.85% or 9.40 points to end at 104.80 and Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:1050) was up 5.96% or 2.70 points to 48.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2100), which fell 4.76% or 1.90 points to trade at 38.05 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310) declined 3.91% or 0.56 points to end at 13.76 and Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (TADAWUL:4141) was down 3.76% or 3.20 points to 82.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 160 to 72 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2100) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.76% or 1.90 to 38.05.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.59% or 1.74 to $111.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.90% or 2.11 to hit $113.09 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.55 to trade at $1,824.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.55% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 104.18.
