Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Petrochemicals and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.87%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350), which rose 8.10% or 1.22 points to trade at 16.28 at the close. Meanwhile, National Com Bnk (SE:1180) added 7.15% or 2.75 points to end at 41.20 and Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) was up 5.79% or 1.60 points to 29.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 4.80% or 0.66 points to trade at 13.08 at the close. Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) declined 3.90% or 0.82 points to end at 20.22 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) was down 3.26% or 0.21 points to 6.24.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 56 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) fell to 5-year lows; down 4.80% or 0.66 to 13.08. Shares in Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.90% or 0.82 to 20.22.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.49% or 0.34 to $69.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.56% or 0.44 to hit $78.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 3.90 to trade at $1205.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.52% to 4.3821, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 94.10.
