Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Financial Services and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.69%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 8.63% or 2.20 points to trade at 27.70 at the close. Meanwhile, ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) added 8.37% or 2.00 points to end at 25.90 and National Com Bnk (SE:1180) was up 4.71% or 2.15 points to 47.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which fell 4.76% or 2.05 points to trade at 41.00 at the close. Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) declined 2.18% or 0.46 points to end at 20.64 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was down 2.13% or 0.22 points to 10.12.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 32 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.76% or 1.49 to $55.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.69% or 1.57 to hit $59.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.75 to trade at $1557.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.40% to 4.1314, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 98.578.
