Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which rose 10.00% or 8.90 points to trade at 97.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) added 10.00% or 1.36 points to end at 14.96 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was up 10.00% or 2.02 points to 22.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001), which fell 1.27% or 1.60 points to trade at 124.00 at the close. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) declined 0.23% or 0.40 points to end at 174.60 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 81.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 198 to 2 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 10.00% or 1.36 to 14.96.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.61% or 0.77 to $47.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.37% or 0.70 to hit $50.21 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 2.30 to trade at $1885.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.06% to 4.5896, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7518.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 90.157.
