Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Cement, Financial Services and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which rose 6.64% or 2.00 points to trade at 32.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 4.68% or 1.30 points to end at 29.05 and Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SE:2010) was up 4.02% or 3.50 points to 90.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030), which fell 3.45% or 1.40 points to trade at 39.15 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) declined 2.66% or 2.80 points to end at 102.60 and United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301) was down 1.34% or 0.20 points to 14.72.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 132 to 46 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.51% or 0.27 to $53.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.56% or 0.33 to hit $59.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.75 to trade at $1494.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.49% to 4.1722, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 97.363.
