Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Cement, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.53% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201), which rose 9.89% or 0.53 points to trade at 5.89 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:2070) added 6.03% or 1.75 points to end at 30.75 and Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4162) was up 5.92% or 3.80 points to 68.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which fell 9.94% or 16.80 points to trade at 152.20 at the close. Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) declined 3.31% or 3.80 points to end at 111.00 and Arabian Drilling Co (TADAWUL:2381) was down 2.88% or 5.40 points to 182.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 215 to 64 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.31% or 0.24 to $78.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.27% or 0.22 to hit $82.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 8.55 to trade at $1,975.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.25% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 104.08.
