Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services, Media & Publishing and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200), which rose 8.06% or 1.38 points to trade at 18.50 at the close. Meanwhile, The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) added 7.45% or 2.15 points to end at 31.00 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was up 6.73% or 2.80 points to 44.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which fell 5.88% or 11.40 points to trade at 182.60 at the close. Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (SE:4342) declined 4.38% or 0.70 points to end at 15.30 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) was down 3.03% or 1.30 points to 41.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 81 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.24% or 0.88 to $71.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.04% or 0.77 to hit $74.65 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.50% or 26.55 to trade at $1791.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.59% to 4.2584, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7526.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 95.862.
