Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Financial Services and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 10.00% or 13.20 points to trade at 145.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) added 9.97% or 3.15 points to end at 34.75 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:8160) was up 6.42% or 0.76 points to 12.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210), which fell 7.15% or 16.40 points to trade at 213.00 at the close. Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) declined 4.81% or 10.20 points to end at 201.80 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) was down 3.50% or 25.40 points to 701.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 164 to 99 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.97% or 3.15 to 34.75.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.55% or 0.45 to $82.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.53% or 0.46 to hit $86.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 9.60 to trade at $2,015.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.11% to 3.98, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 106.24.
