Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Building & Construction and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060), which rose 7.96% or 4.80 points to trade at 65.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) added 6.03% or 1.60 points to end at 28.15 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 5.98% or 1.55 points to 27.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 2.86% or 0.52 points to trade at 17.64 at the close. Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) declined 2.67% or 0.40 points to end at 14.60 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was down 1.53% or 0.34 points to 21.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 160 to 34 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 25.93% or 3.20 to $15.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 7.56% or 1.72 to hit $24.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 4.40 to trade at $1717.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.30% to 4.0787, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7585.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 99.785.
