Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Industrial Investment and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 7.82% or 3.36 points to trade at 46.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) added 5.70% or 0.36 points to end at 6.68 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) was up 4.97% or 1.18 points to 24.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280), which fell 2.92% or 0.73 points to trade at 24.30 at the close. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 2.65% or 0.78 points to end at 28.70 and Halwani Bros (SE:6001) was down 1.79% or 0.85 points to 46.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 31 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Halwani Bros (SE:6001) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.79% or 0.85 to 46.75.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.87% or 0.96 to $50.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.42% or 0.81 to hit $56.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 7.05 to trade at $1295.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.4436, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 92.93.
