Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082), which rose 5.60% or 8.80 points to trade at 166.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (TADAWUL:4141) added 5.39% or 4.40 points to end at 86.00 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (TADAWUL:2030) was up 4.78% or 4.40 points to 96.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311), which fell 3.09% or 0.52 points to trade at 16.30 at the close. Derayah REIT (TADAWUL:4339) declined 2.59% or 0.28 points to end at 10.52 and Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:6001) was down 2.24% or 1.40 points to 61.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 76 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.09% or 0.52 to 16.30. Shares in Halwani Bros (TADAWUL:6001) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.24% or 1.40 to 61.20.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.45% or 1.23 to $85.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.40% or 1.28 to hit $92.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.30% or 21.40 to trade at $1,670.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.87% to 3.68, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.05% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.86% at 112.23.
