Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070), which rose 10.00% or 4.40 points to trade at 48.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) added 9.94% or 10.60 points to end at 117.20 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) was up 9.92% or 6.10 points to 67.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333), which fell 1.47% or 0.20 points to trade at 13.40 at the close. Baazeem Trading Co (SE:4051) declined 1.36% or 1.80 points to end at 130.20 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) was down 0.96% or 1.20 points to 123.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 185 to 16 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 10.00% or 4.40 to 48.40. Shares in Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.94% or 10.60 to 117.20. Shares in Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.92% or 6.10 to 67.60.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.37% or 0.78 to $57.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.01% or 0.60 to hit $60.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.19% or 21.55 to trade at $1834.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.00% to 4.5184, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 91.052.
