Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.35% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 10.00% or 6.30 points to trade at 69.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) added 9.92% or 2.27 points to end at 25.15 and Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) was up 7.20% or 1.70 points to 25.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which fell 4.45% or 0.44 points to trade at 9.45 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) declined 2.13% or 0.30 points to end at 13.80 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was down 1.75% or 0.20 points to 11.26.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 141 to 41 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.92% or 2.27 to 25.15.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.75% or 0.94 to $52.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.53% or 0.94 to hit $60.65 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.35 to trade at $1299.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.11% to 4.2820, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 95.490.
