Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.28%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060), which rose 8.42% or 1.18 points to trade at 15.20 at the close. Meanwhile, AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:4331) added 5.77% or 0.98 points to end at 17.96 and Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281) was up 5.62% or 6.80 points to 127.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013), which fell 2.55% or 4.00 points to trade at 153.00 at the close. Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (TADAWUL:4004) declined 2.46% or 3.60 points to end at 142.60 and Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:4161) was down 2.40% or 1.20 points to 48.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 166 to 68 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.62% or 6.80 to 127.80.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.13% or 0.10 to $79.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.06 to hit $84.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 6.05 to trade at $1,810.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.29% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.10% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 104.07.
