Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Cement, Building & Construction and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002), which rose 10.00% or 2.00 points to trade at 22.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) added 10.00% or 1.02 points to end at 11.22 and Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) was up 9.96% or 1.36 points to 15.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which fell 3.13% or 0.90 points to trade at 27.85 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 2.59% or 1.20 points to end at 45.10 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) was down 2.32% or 0.60 points to 25.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 40 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 5.18% or 1.25 to $25.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.55% or 0.46 to hit $30.09 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 11.65 to trade at $1709.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.60% to 4.0820, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7570.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 99.840.
