Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080), which rose 8.22% or 1.97 points to trade at 25.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) added 7.08% or 1.70 points to end at 25.70 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) was up 5.68% or 2.35 points to 43.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which fell 2.37% or 0.18 points to trade at 7.43 at the close. Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) declined 1.92% or 0.50 points to end at 25.55 and Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) was down 1.66% or 0.80 points to 47.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 129 to 42 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.21% or 0.66 to $53.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.02% or 0.64 to hit $61.87 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.95 to trade at $1317.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.14% to 4.2833, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 95.692.
