Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hammadi Co (TADAWUL:4007), which rose 7.34% or 3.65 points to trade at 53.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (TADAWUL:6060) added 5.82% or 0.88 points to end at 16.00 and BANK ALBILAD (TADAWUL:1140) was up 5.68% or 2.10 points to 39.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300), which fell 4.24% or 1.60 points to trade at 36.15 at the close. Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) declined 2.93% or 0.14 points to end at 4.64 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) was down 2.53% or 3.00 points to 115.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 220 to 49 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.04 to $83.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.10% or 0.09 to hit $88.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.55 to trade at $1,988.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.07% to 3.97, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 106.19.
