Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Transport and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.20% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which rose 9.94% or 1.42 points to trade at 15.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) added 9.93% or 2.80 points to end at 31.00 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 9.90% or 3.400 points to 37.750 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080), which fell 6.35% or 1.56 points to trade at 23.00 at the close. Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) declined 6.17% or 7.00 points to end at 106.40 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was down 3.52% or 0.64 points to 17.52.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 64 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.94% or 1.42 to 15.70. Shares in Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.93% or 2.80 to 31.00. Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.90% or 3.400 to 37.750.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.69% or 0.42 to $61.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.46% or 0.29 to hit $63.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.25 to trade at $1725.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.5146, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 91.115.
