Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Cement, Real Estate Development and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which rose 6.61% or 1.90 points to trade at 30.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Jabal Omar Development Company (TADAWUL:4250) added 6.32% or 1.80 points to end at 30.30 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was up 6.15% or 4.20 points to 72.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which fell 8.40% or 1.12 points to trade at 12.22 at the close. Savola Group (TADAWUL:2050) declined 3.27% or 1.80 points to end at 53.20 and Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) was down 2.65% or 2.00 points to 73.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 205 to 85 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) fell to all time lows; down 8.40% or 1.12 to 12.22.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.70% or 0.60 to $85.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.79% or 0.70 to hit $89.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 11.10 to trade at $2,292.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 104.51.
