Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Industrial Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200), which rose 9.98% or 9.60 points to trade at 105.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) added 7.81% or 2.60 points to end at 35.90 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830) was up 7.42% or 11.40 points to 165.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164) declined 5.22% or 7.40 points to end at 134.40 and United Int Transportation Company (TADAWUL:4260) was down 3.27% or 2.20 points to 65.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 141 to 124 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.98% or 9.60 to 105.80. Shares in Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164) fell to all time lows; down 5.22% or 7.40 to 134.40. Shares in Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.42% or 11.40 to 165.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.44% or 1.98 to $83.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.29% or 1.95 to hit $86.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 3.90 to trade at $1,998.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 106.71.
