Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Petrochemicals and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.11% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which rose 6.01% or 1.18 points to trade at 20.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) added 5.15% or 0.43 points to end at 8.78 and Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) was up 4.77% or 1.75 points to 38.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which fell 2.09% or 0.50 points to trade at 23.40 at the close. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) declined 1.77% or 0.34 points to end at 18.88 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was down 1.75% or 0.36 points to 20.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 118 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.15% or 0.43 to 8.78.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.43% or 1.21 to $50.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.08% or 1.22 to hit $59.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.30 to trade at $1283.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.14% to 4.2969, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 95.410.
