Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 8.73% or 2.90 points to trade at 36.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 7.94% or 0.92 points to end at 12.50 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 5.98% or 0.54 points to 9.57 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030), which fell 7.19% or 4.80 points to trade at 62.00 at the close. Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031) declined 2.25% or 0.70 points to end at 30.35 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was down 1.65% or 0.42 points to 24.98.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 29 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.02% or 1.62 to $52.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.60% or 1.53 to hit $57.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.98% or 29.45 to trade at $1513.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.28% to 4.2118, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 97.230.
