Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Cement and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070), which rose 9.99% or 6.90 points to trade at 76.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) added 5.41% or 2.00 points to end at 39.00 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8120) was up 5.08% or 0.45 points to 9.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012), which fell 2.98% or 0.72 points to trade at 23.44 at the close. Arab National Bank (TADAWUL:1080) declined 2.20% or 0.70 points to end at 31.05 and Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (TADAWUL:4191) was down 1.78% or 0.50 points to 27.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 196 to 50 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.01% or 2.22 to $75.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.70% or 2.12 to hit $80.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 11.55 to trade at $1,881.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.69% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.07% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 103.03.
