Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Financial Services and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.91% to hit a new 5-year high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ataa Educational Co (SE:4292), which rose 9.90% or 5.90 points to trade at 65.50 at the close. Meanwhile, National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) added 8.18% or 5.20 points to end at 68.80 and BANK ALBILAD (SE:1140) was up 5.24% or 2.05 points to 41.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which fell 4.51% or 4.50 points to trade at 95.30 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) declined 4.14% or 7.00 points to end at 162.00 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was down 3.41% or 0.90 points to 25.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 93 to 91 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.38% or 2.25 to $68.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.84% or 1.96 to hit $71.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 7.30 to trade at $1719.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.21% to 4.3923, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 93.112.
