Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.90% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which rose 6.08% or 1.00 points to trade at 17.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Ataa Educational Co (SE:4292) added 5.86% or 3.40 points to end at 61.40 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 5.51% or 11.40 points to 218.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which fell 6.42% or 2.15 points to trade at 31.35 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) declined 6.14% or 2.25 points to end at 34.40 and Raydan Co (SE:6012) was down 3.19% or 0.70 points to 21.24.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 136 to 65 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) rose to all time highs; rising 5.51% or 11.40 to 218.40.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.35% or 0.28 to $78.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.33% or 0.27 to hit $81.48 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 6.10 to trade at $1791.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.59% to 4.2385, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 96.177.
