Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Energy & Utilities and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.88% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 10.00% or 2.08 points to trade at 22.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) added 9.92% or 0.60 points to end at 6.65 and The Saudi Investment Bank (SE:1030) was up 8.70% or 1.68 points to 21.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 3.01% or 0.68 points to trade at 21.94 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 2.09% or 1.80 points to end at 84.50 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) was down 2.00% or 1.10 points to 53.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 62 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) rose to 3-years highs; up 10.00% or 2.08 to 22.88. Shares in The Saudi Investment Bank (SE:1030) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 8.70% or 1.68 to 21.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.75% or 0.40 to $53.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $61.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.77% or 22.60 to trade at $1302.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.03% to 4.2812, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.86% at 95.470.
