Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Transport and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.87% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002), which rose 10.00% or 6.10 points to trade at 67.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) added 9.85% or 2.550 points to end at 28.450 and Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) was up 9.84% or 1.90 points to 21.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which fell 3.24% or 4.60 points to trade at 137.40 at the close. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) declined 2.45% or 0.70 points to end at 27.90 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was down 2.41% or 0.52 points to 21.08.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 55 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 10.00% or 6.10 to 67.10. Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.85% or 2.550 to 28.450. Shares in Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.84% or 1.90 to 21.20.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.84% or 0.53 to $62.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.74% or 0.49 to hit $65.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.08% or 19.35 to trade at $1778.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.47% to 4.5818, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 89.852.
