Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Financial Services, Transport and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:4331), which rose 9.96% or 1.64 points to trade at 18.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank AlJazira (TADAWUL:1020) added 9.20% or 1.78 points to end at 21.12 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) was up 7.53% or 4.40 points to 62.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820), which fell 3.89% or 0.11 points to trade at 2.72 at the close. Sinad Holding Co (TADAWUL:4080) declined 2.65% or 0.36 points to end at 13.20 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) was down 2.04% or 0.36 points to 17.28.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 162 to 106 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank AlJazira (TADAWUL:1020) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.20% or 1.78 to 21.12.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.12% or 0.87 to $78.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.52% or 1.25 to hit $82.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.40 to trade at $2,036.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 103.26.
