Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Financial Services and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 10.00% or 1.72 points to trade at 18.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 6.27% or 0.80 points to end at 13.56 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL:7030) was up 4.47% or 0.46 points to 10.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:2083), which fell 3.04% or 1.60 points to trade at 51.00 at the close. Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164) declined 2.98% or 5.40 points to end at 175.60 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:4040) was down 2.71% or 0.46 points to 16.54.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 144 to 112 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 3-years highs; rising 10.00% or 1.72 to 18.92.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.53% or 0.41 to $78.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.39% or 0.33 to hit $84.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 5.70 to trade at $1,839.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.63% to 3.98, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 105.00.
