Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303), which rose 7.25% or 0.94 points to trade at 13.90 at the close. Meanwhile, The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 6.70% or 1.14 points to end at 18.16 and SABB Takaful (SE:8080) was up 6.59% or 1.02 points to 16.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 8.52% or 1.04 points to trade at 11.16 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 5.19% or 1.04 points to end at 18.98 and Raydan Co (SE:6012) was down 3.64% or 0.54 points to 14.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 127 to 53 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 6.03% or 0.77 to $13.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.86% or 0.66 to hit $23.73 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 12.70 to trade at $1711.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.18% to 4.0785, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7597.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 99.805.
