Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Financial Services and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Samba Financial Group (SE:1090), which rose 9.86% or 2.36 points to trade at 26.30 at the close. Meanwhile, AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) added 7.97% or 0.94 points to end at 12.74 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) was up 7.59% or 3.25 points to 46.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which fell 3.92% or 0.99 points to trade at 24.26 at the close. Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) declined 3.09% or 0.95 points to end at 29.80 and Al Mashaar REIT (SE:4337) was down 1.67% or 0.12 points to 7.06.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 47 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.34% or 0.52 to $38.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $40.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 14.20 to trade at $1784.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.04% to 4.2085, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.460.
